B. Hosting international conferences
(a) The MOHW held the "Review Meeting of the ROC's Second Report under the Convention on the Rights
of Persons with Disabilities" and the "Review Meeting of the ROC's Second Report under the Convention
on the Rights of the Child" in August and November 2022, respectively. International experts were invited
to assess the implementation of the conventions in Taiwan.

(b) In September 2022, the "Emergency Medical Response & Humanitarian Aid International Conference" was
held. Experts from the United States, Japan, Switzerland, Belgium, and Romania were invited to share
their experiences in international humanitarian aid, evidence based war trauma focused treatments, early
planning, preparedness and considerations in emergency medical response. 127 participants attended
the physical conference and approximately 40 international participants joined online.
